PERSONAL APPEARANCES
Ray interviewed veteran screenwriter Tom Mankiewicz live on stage at Warner Bros. Studios at an event co-sponsored by Script Magazine and the New York Film Academy in April 2010.
Morton was a special guest at the Alex Film Society screening of the original 1933 King Kong at the Alex Theater in Glendale, California in October 2008.
He was also a featured guest at the 2001 Las Vegas Screenwriters Conference, where he participated in a panel discussion on script reading and analysis.

Ray signed copies of Close Encounters of the Third Kind: The Making of Steven Spielberg’s Classic Film at the Los Angeles edition of Book Expo America in June 2008.
